EZ Fit
Our EZ Fit system WITH CLOSER TRIM is designed to make it easy to install windows into an existing opening.
Our aluminium windows come standard with a external rebate (Approx. 24mm) all round from the Reveal Fin to the outside face. This rebate can be completely closed with a Closer Trim.
This is beneficial with window replacements into already prepared or existing openings.
If you are installing into a newer opening or you do require a cavity rebate like in a weatherboard situation you may prefer the standard option without the Closer Trim.

CLOSER TRIM
An inline window or door has a closer trim attached to the outside face that hides the rebate cavity by adding 21.5mm to the aluminium size all round making a flush finish from outside to inside.
This system is mainly suited to existing replacement in brick veneer or solid brick constructions. As you are entering overall ALUMINIUM SIZES be sure to deduct the reveal thickness and closer trim of 21.5 per below…
WINDOWS METHOD
Reveals & closer trim add 21.5mm on each side they are present so for windows (+43 height and +43 width) for overall reveal & closer trim size.
Eg. If you need your window to finish 900H x 1200W Overall reveal & closer trim size…
For Overall Reveal & Closer Trim 900H x 1200W
ALUMINIUM SIZES you enter will be 857H x 1157W
DOOR METHOD
NOTE: No reveal on bottom of door
Reveals & closer trim add 21.5mm on each side they are present so for doors (+23 height and +43 width) for overall reveal & closer trim size.
Eg. If you need your door to finish 2100H x 1800W Overall reveal & closer trim size…
For Overall Reveal & Closer Trim 2100H x 1800W
ALUMINIUM SIZES you enter will be 2077H x 1757W
REVEAL DEPTH
To determine the recommended reveal depth please follow the general recommendations below…
A. Weather board with a pine stud 100mm
B. Weather board with a hardwood stud 110mm
C. Brick veneer 135mm
D. Sold brick 160mm
