Architraves (Internal)

An Internal architrave is the internal moulding that sits on the plaster and joins the timber reveal of the window. Internal architraves generally cover the gap between the timber reveal and the studwork with plaster.

You can supply custom architraves to match existing 

Internal architrave mouldings come in many different shapes and sizes therefore they can be quite difficult to match identically.

As a This can be the case in some renovations EZ Windows offers the option of custom architraves. this allows the customer to source their own matching architraves and supply them for us to fit.

The other option is for EZ Windows to supply and fit standard architraves.

The Standard architrave we supply is timber 67mm x  18mm

A internal architrave is the timber frame that surrounds the window or door. The architrave covers the gap between the reveal and the plaster and creates a neat picture frame look around the inside of the window.

Reveals add 20mm on each side they are present so for windows (+40 height and +40 width) for overall reveal size.

Eg. If you need your window to finish 900H x 1200W Overall reveal size…

For Overall Reveal 900H x 1200W ALUMINIUM SIZES you enter will be 860H x 1160W

DOORS

NOTE: No reveal on bottom of door

Reveals add 20mm on each side they are present so for doors (+20 height and +40 width) for overall reveal size.

Eg. If you need your door to finish 2100H x 1800W Overall reveal size…

Overall Reveal 2100H x 1800W ALUMINIUM SIZES you enter will be 2080H x 1760W

NOTE: always remember to enter ALUMINIUM SIZES

To determine the recommended reveal depth please follow the general recommendations below…
